Islamic Republic of Iran (Better known as Iran) (Persian: جمهوری اسلامی ایران‎ Jomhuri-ye Eslāmi-ye Irān) is the 79th character in the game. He was added in Update 6.4 along with Vietnam. He is a 5 Star Character.

Appearance

Iran looks like a young man, with light brown hair, pointy ears, and blue eyes. He has rather a square shaped head, and a happy facial expression. His other eye is covered with an eye patch similar to what Pirates wear.

Power Button Effect

In his power shot state, Iran will turn into a creature that looks like a goblin. His teeth are clearly apparent. He seems to have Iron ears and Jaw. He has orange, shiny eyes. He shoots exploding bombs from his mouth.

Power Shots

Air Shot: Goblin Bomb Shot

Iran will let out a villainous laugh, and then proceed to jump onto a hovering platform. Iran will shoot out rockets from the platform pushing in towards the opponent’s goal. After, he will shoot two bombs — each containing the ball — at a horizontal angle (prominent to Vietnam’s Air Shot). With the cutscene, he will also lunge his staff. If the opponent has blocked the shot, they will be turned into an exploding organ and disappear.

Ground Shot: Goblin Wire Shot

Iran’s Ground Shot will copy the same formula of him jumping on his hovering platform. He will then shoot two bombs horizontally towards the goal, and then a wire will extend and latch onto the opponent, pushing Iran towards the goal. Each bomb and the wire contains balls. Along with the cutscene, he will throw additional bombs.

Counter Attack: Goblin Staff Shot

Iran will charge towards the goal with his staff containing the ball. When blocked, you will be put in a blender and explode.

• His power state is based on Green Goblin.
• He is the only character that wears an eye patch.
• He is the 79th character in the game.
• His Non-Power appearance is based upon the appearance of Willem Dafoe, an American Actor who played the role of the Green Goblin in "The Amazing Spiderman".
• Since the update 6.20, Iran appears in Death Mode as the boss of the stage 21, remplacing Greece. Howerver, Greece still appears in the cutscene just before as the boss who tricks and defeats the player despite the fact that he isn't the boss of this stage anymore...
