League

League is a game mode that simulates a season of actual football. It was added in the 2.0 Update. There are three different levels of the league mode: Amateur, Minor and Major. Every league has 18 matches to play. The League mode is a great way to earn points.

Rules and Gameplay

Overview

You play against 9 characters twice. So you play a total of 18 matches. All ten players get a ranking, which changes after each match based on your relative performance. You start at the 10th place. To win the league, you must end in 1st place. In the 18th match, the 'Final Round', the characters that are ranked 1st place and 2nd place play against each other. In this match, your opponent will have a costume equipped. The winner of the Final Round wins the league.

Climbing the ranks

Making it to the 1st or 2nd place is your first objective. You are placed higher than characters with less wins than you. If characters have the same amount of wins as you, you are placed higher than them if you have scored more goals than them overall.

When you reach the Final Round in 1st or 2nd place, your objective becomes winning the Final Round. Losing the Final Round results in 2nd place, regardless of your amount of goals and wins. In the result of a tie, the character that scored the most goals overall wins.

Unlock Requirements

To unlock Amateur league, you must beat 33 characters in the Arcade, or pay 100,000 points.
To unlock Minor league, you need to come in 1st place in the Amateur league, or pay 200,000 points.
To unlock Major league, you need to come in 1st place in the Minor league, or pay 300,000 points.

The differences in difficulty are due to the different selections of characters that can participate; characters in the Major League are typically more difficult to play against than characters in the Amateur League.

Character Unlocks

There are 16 characters you can unlock by doing something in League.

New Zealand: Win the Amateur League with 3 characters.
Sweden: Win the Minor League with 5 characters.
Z: Win the Major League with 10 characters.
Israel: Win the Amateur League without conceding more than 10 goals (Glitch - Win the Amateur League for the first time).
Australia: Win the Minor League without conceding more than 10 goals (Glitch - Win the Minor League for the first time).
Denmark: Win the Major League without conceding more than 10 goals (Glitch - Win the Major League for the first time).
Romania: Win the Major League without using a Power Shot.
Thailand: Win the Major League without using Dash or pay him for 4,100,000 points.
Saudi Arabia: Win the Amateur League without using power shot and dash.
Switzerland: Win the Minor League without using power shot and dash.
Singapore: Win the Major League without using Kick.
India: Win the Amateur League without using jump and kick
Czech Republic: Win the Minor League without using kick and jump.
Nepal: Win the Major League without using jump.
Ukraine: Win the Major League with 80 counter attacks.
Fiji: Win the Major League without getting Hurt.
Malaysia: Win the Major League with 180 total goals.
