Stage 9 is a stage in Death Mode. It has 3 rounds with easy opponents.
Obstacle
In rounds 1 & 2, after a few seconds, a barrage of three Meteors will come down from the roof of the stadium, and fall on you. If you are hit by one of them, you will receive the fire effect which will mix up your controls. In the 3rd Round, against Thailand, he will have the same Costume as in the Arcade, but this time, instead of three, four rocks will come out.
Tips & Tricks
Make sure you have a good costume, to quickly avoid the falling avalanche of rocks. Also, use air/underground power shots to effectively carry out a goal. If using a ground shot, like India, the little rocks on the ground will waste the shot. Also, watch out for the 3rd Round. Thailand will be speedy on the ground and the air. Despite this, you must watch out for his costume. The Antennae Costume can bring up his power bar by a lot. Make sure to get rid of it.
Reward
For beating the first two opponents you will receive 900 points, if you win the boss round you'll receive 1,800 points.
Trivia
- The meteors are completely the same as from Thailand's power shot.
- The photo in the cage on the progress screen shows a meteor. However, the meteors that actually appear look different.
