Stage 17 is a stage in Death Mode. It has 4 rounds with medium opponents.
Obstacle
Stage 17 has an obstacle called Giant Spider. This black spider blinks its yellow eyes all the time and also his spider legs are animated. The spider is attached to the ceiling by some spider silk and it swings from left to right. Its height varies throughout the game; often they start high and and at the end of the game they can be really close to the ground. Randomly, the black spider shoots spider silk downwards, similar to Portugal's, and when any player steps in, they get trapped in a cocon which is attached to the ceiling as well. The spider can also block the ball and power shots if they reach high enough. Portugal is the boss in this stage and he wears the Spider Web Costume. In the boss stage, there are two spiders instead of one, one above your half of the field and one above Portugal's.
Tips and Tricks
Every power shot works here as long as it isn't high in the air, like Chile, India, Spain or Portugal. Of course you must avoid the spider silk that's on the ground and if you let your opponent step in it, you will have a good chance to score. Very occasionally, the spiders will come really low, which is something to keep in the back of your mind.
Reward
In this stage, the reward for beating the henchmen is 1,700 points and for the boss it's 3,400 points.
