Stage 1 is the very first Stage in Death Mode. You must play 3 rounds with easy opponents: two normal rounds and one final round against the boss of the Stage.
Obstacle
The Obstacle of the first Stage in the Death Mode is the 100 Ton Weight. It is a big 100 Ton Weight that comes down from the air to the ground. When you come under it you will be pushed away or occasionally it will push you underground. The weight does what you would expect from an obstacle, as it blocks power shots and the ball, so it is a real obstacle you must pass in oder to score; especially because it's going up and down. In the boss round against Colombia, who wears the Hammer Costume in that match, there will be two smaller 100 Ton Weights, one on your side of the field and the other on Colombia's side of the field.
Tips & Tricks
You can play the best with a Character such as France. Characters like India are not very good, because the ball often knocks the 100 Ton Weight and then it will possibly end in your own goal.
Also, by riding the weight up in the air, you can get a great boost of height! This can be used to block air shots such as India's or if you just want to use the Flying glitch for fun.
Characters with low power shots, like Italy and Cyborg can be really trecherous opponents in this stage. Remember to always stay on the ground when he has his power shot ready, because if you're somewhere hanging in the air there's no way that you can stop it.
The Hammer Costume is not that hard. Colombia loses it a lot of times and when he doesn't, just make sure you not knock it.
Colombia's power shot is often blocked by the weights. It happens a lot that the ball ends up in front of the goal, so be prepared to walk it in as fast as you can!
Usually when the ball comes under the weight, it will be launched towards your opponent's goal, so there's one less thing to worry about.
Reward
This is the first stage and therefore the one with the lowest rewards. Winning the first two rounds will get you 100 points, if you beat Colombia in the boss round you'll receive 200 points.
