I've unlocked all the pets but played with only dinosaur (Right most at 3.5 million price). Initially its a baby in the egg shell jumping up n down in the goal. At level 20 it turns into a baby dinosaur and starts to walk around the goal (no jump). At level 60, it turns into big dinosaur that bites while walking around, makes opponent disappear. Thats Max.

The  fastest way to level up the pets is perhaps first 20 games of Survival, quick ones. A complete fight mode gives 2.8 levels, including the highest raise (~3 quarter of a level, dont know why) after beating Bolivia (second last boss). Haven't tried other game modes. Use Serbia with Nepal costume to finish Fight mode quicker than HeadCup (with head lasers).
